Dear Children of Shepshed (ages 0 – 99years)

Santa, his sleigh and Lions helpers, will visiting Shepshed on Monday 9th December until Saturday 21st December (not Sunday 15th, he’ll be having a rest that day), between 5pm and 8pm.

We know that usually his helpers knock on your doors BUT Shepshed has grown so big that even he cannot visit all the streets now.  Therefore, so that no children will be disappointed he will be sitting on his sleigh at certain places on his usual route so that you can visit HIM.

He will be stopping at these places for about 15/20 minutes each time. One of his helper will be posting updates, on Facebook as he stops (in real time) so if you want to know where he is at a given time make sure you ‘like’ his page (Santa and the Shepshed Lions, Santa 

Sleigh information) and ‘follow’ with notifications.

On 3 nights he will be at the Council Offices opposite Tesco from 5pm until 8pm, where his helpers will be serving mince pies and mulled wine and fruit juice. He will also visit the Jolly Farmers car park on one occasion too.

Dear parents and grown-ups of Shepshed, for your information – Our insurance has this year dictated that we cannot take the sleigh up/down the roads as we have in previous years, hence, in order not to disappoint, we have had to change ‘Operation Santa’.
